La Fundació PortAventura once again brings Christmas to Joan XXIII and Sant Joan hospitals

Sesame Street’s Bert and Ernie were the lucky characters who accompanied Santa Claus during his Christmas visit to Hospital Joan XXIII de Tarragona and Hospital Sant Joan de Reus.

On 23rd December, La Fundació PortAventura, together with Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street and Santa Claus, brought presents and happiness to all the hospitalised children in the paediatric wards of Hospital Joan XXIII de Tarragona and Hospital Sant Joan de Reus.

The characters entertained the children during their stay since they were not able to enjoy the Christmas period alongside their families.

The smiles and excitement of all the children when they saw two of the most symbolic Sesame Street and PortAventura characters entering their rooms ensured that both medical staff and La Fundació PortAventura staff enjoyed the visit just as much as the little ones.

With this heartwarming day, PortAventura Foundation made sure for another year that the hospitalised children, as well as their parents and relatives, enjoyed a different kind of morning thanks to the jokes and mischief from Santa Claus, Bert and Ernie.
