The Fundació PortAventura celebrated the fifth edition of its Solidarity Golf Tournament at the facilities of the Lumine Golf & Beach Club. The sporting event, which has already become one of the most important annual events for the Foundation.

The Tournament took place, once again, at the privileged golf courses of Lumine Golf & Beach Club, located in an incomparable environment, near the seashore and surrounded by Mediterranean nature.

Regarding novelties, this year two simultaneous tournaments were held, offering players the possibility to choose a field in which to play.

In addition, with the help of the ACCIC (Catalan Association of Congenital Heart Disease) a golf baptism for children with heart disease, since it is demonstrated that this sport, golf, by its nature, is ideal for people with heart diseases.

The total revenue obtained in the tournament (€ 12,145) will go to the CAE Marinada, which serves people with intellectual disabilities and mental disorders under the residence regime and also as a specialized day care center.

This year, the COAATT (Association of Quantity Surveyors of Tarragona) joined the Tournament, as a co-organizer, in which case the benefits will go to the Rosa María Vivar Foundation, a therapeutic day center born from the need to provide all people with Alzheimer's disease in the territory, an excellent space for non-pharmacological treatment, based on the most innovative therapies of cognitive stimulation.
