The 15th edition of the "Posa't la Gorra" in PortAventura Park brings together about 7000 people and gives the starting signal for the PortAventura Dreams project of the PortAventura Foundation.

Last Saturday, June 10, the charity party "Posa't la Gorra!" Came to its fifteenth anniversary, organized by the Association of Children with Cancer (AFANOC), which works to improve the quality of life of children and adolescents with cancer and their families and provide them with integrated psychosocial support, in collaboration with the PortAventura Foundation, A non-profit organization that works to achieve the integration into society of groups at risk of social exclusion, with special attention to children and young people.

About 7,000 people donned the cap in solidarity with children and adolescents with cancer and their families. In addition to the attractions of the park they were able to enjoy musical and animation performances, workshops and the foam party that cooled the heat. This year the party had a special character due to the celebration of the anniversary that became a giant cake on stage and a shower of confetti. As always the most important and emotional moment of the party was the reading of the manifest by two children of AFANOC, accompanied by the institutional representatives and members of the board, who had a few words for Pep Pla, president of the association that left us recently.

The money will be used to maintain the services of the delegation of Tarragona of AFANOC and the new projects to improve the House of the Xuklis, a house of welcome for all the families that have to move of their populations of origin to receive treatment in The main hospitals of reference of Barcelona and that in 6 years in operation has already served around 900 families.

The entity wants to express its satisfaction with the results of the campaign which it values ​​very positively, while also expressing its gratitude to all those who have made it possible.
